While I was pacing around my bedroom in montesser street, flashbacks of my secondary school years flashes in front of me, fast, and multicolored. Played like a VCD player being back forward, a tinge of memory in colors. The winding VCD player stops suddenly at October, year 2007 and I was sucked into the screen and down I fall, falling towards the marbled brown floor. With a thump, I landed on the hard plastic cream chair of Dewan Gemilang of my old school. In front of me is a stage decorated as in outer space and I hear my friend laila’s voice say “look halimah, its starting now”. It was a play by class 3 lambda. A play about Cressida, an alien from far away planet on a quest to earth to find the remedy for her sick father only to be stuck on earth with her new found lover, an earth man. It was the perfect play with wonderful talented actors and actress but I wasn’t anticipating the play at all. I scanned across the hall and finally spotted by handsome 15 years old brother, Abdul Majid. He is busy preparing for his play. A group of girls fussed around him giving him orders and some just stare at him in admiration. That’s him, my brother. The idolized basketball player, a prefect and the hottie of his batch. I smiled sheepishly to myself obviously feeling proud to be his sister. There’s still two more play before their turn and already the form 4 & 5 recess time is coming to an end in 10 minutes. My Agama Islam class will start next and our Ustaz will certainly be unpleased to found a bunch of missing girls in his class. Then the battle of the heart began… it was the first time for my brother to act in a play and what now is he is also the lead actor, so fresh, young and handsome. It is October and my SPM exam is starting in two weeks. Should I stay here and watch the play and feel the torment of missing the Agama Islam class? What to do now? Already some of my classmates are making their way to class. Halimah, go to class… but….but…this is my final year in school and this might be the last chance for me to watch my brother perform on stage. But halimah, SPM is just around the corner and it is your stepping stone towards success. If you fail your agama exam…uh oh.
I certainly regret for what I have done. The guilt still clings to me until this day. It torments me so much that I wish I could go back in time back to the day that I make the mistake. I’m so so so sorry Ajid. I’m sorry for not staying to watch your play. Really, it’s a big lost for me, as your sister. I hate myself for that.
And what burdens me is that that ustaz never show up and he asks us to self study. And I never make my move towards Dewan Gemilang to watch your play as the time passed really really slowly for me and the next teacher came in to teach.

2009, 13 March. Friday
As starting, I have no intention at all to go Kaherah. But after knowing that Halimah is going to be alone, I followed to accompany her.
The journey from Mansoura to Kaherah was as expected. Long, shaky and beautiful. This time I was so lucky because I can see lots and lots of farms full of their products and the producers (farmers, pluckers, people with their ‘himars’) were all busy like bees which interest me up. And the ripe oranges were so attractive!
Our arrivals were welcomed by ‘Pak Cik Senyum’ after he finished performing Jumaat prayer at the front gate. I was relieved to see his lovable smile again since I haven’t seen him quite a long time.
When we finished performing Zohor and ‘Asar prayers (Jama’), Ashraf called us to meet Ayah Ru who had just arrived. Ayah Ru, as healthy, cheerful and talkative as usual was having lunch with Tok Din, Tok Cik Ani, and the two now-called-hot boys, Nafis and Ashraf.
After lunch and finished helping Muhammad with the dishes, we brought Ayah Ru upstairs and have some good chat with him before he dozed off. But before he did, he promised us to bring us for a walk at night.
When the time arrived, we went out as promised after dinner. (Halimah and I didn’t manage to get dinner we’ve prepared with Tok Cik Ani because we went upstairs straight after we finished preparing the food). In the first place, we’ve decided to enter the Cilantro which is just around the corner of the street. But, maybe because it is weekend night, so the café was full and no table were available for 6 of us (Ayah Ru, Kak Lina, Nafis, Ashraf, Halimah and me). Ayah Bid was supposed to join us but he didn’t show up until we came home.
So, we walk up through some miles and crossed some streets to go to another café, Cinnabon. But, unfortunately, this café was also full. My mood went down a little bit since I love cinnabon. However, still this is Ayah Ru’s treat, so I just followed.
We finally end up at this classic-wallpaper covered-café, Trianon. The atmosphere is quite nice for family outings, like us. We settled down upstairs and ordered some coffees and dessert. I’ve ordered an Expresso Bianco and caramel cheesecake. Then I realized that I’m not going to stick with coffees as they always make me dizzy instead of giving me energy like some people do. There, we chatted about many interesting subjects that concerned me of being a person. A better person of course. I’m attracted when Ayah Ru told us stories of his experiences in his life. What he had go through when he was a student in Manchester, being a ‘mushrif’ for the female students, and his perspectives of being a mushrif.
About half an hour before midnight, we slowly walked back to Tok Din’s house and Ayah Ru settled to sleep after a little chit-chat at the Hall of Mirrors.
Before me forgotten, Tok Suhah, Ayah Shah and wife, Kak Rina, with their cagy daughter, Puteri Nur Fatihah arrived from Malaysia this evening. They meet along with Ayah Bik and Kak Nadia with their cute son, Rifki and cunning baby daughter, Rania at Qatar Airport transition.

baby Rania.kawaii!!

to everybody out der n to me;
sumtyms we dun realize wut we have in front our eyes..we tend to not cherish ‘em as they appear invisible to us.
suddenly, *puuff*.. they vanish in the air..
that’s the time when we totally feel how much they really mean to us and understand their importance in our lives..
that’s the time when we regret for not realizing and for not cherishing every moment we got =( [it does happen a lot..rite2?]
Dun b sad n dun worry cuz..
Its never too late to realize sumthin’ n it’s never too late to regret n to make a change..
Faith is juz believing sumthin’ bhind urself, lyk hope n love
Its never to late to realize wuts important in ur life,so fight for it!~
